The Mississauga Sports Council is a membership based not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and development of sport and physical activity for all ages.
The Sports Council, through the vision of Mayor Hazel McCallion and City Council, was formally established in 1983 by an Order in Council.
Our Mission

 

The mission of the Sports Council is to encourage all residents of Mississauga to be lifelong participants in safe, accessible and equitable sport and recreation.

MSC on the move

The Sports Council is now settling into our new location in sports complex at the Hershey Sportzone. Our office is located on the main concourse in the lobby. We'll be working on showcasing the new Sports Hall of Fame exhibits, which will be on display.
